On Friday I did a tour round the Prado Museum with tour guide Pedro who I found on #Airbnb.
I was the only one on the tour so had Pedro to myself for almost two hours as he took me round the museum and spoke to me about the history, the art and the famous painters. We focused on Goya and Velazquez two famous Spanish painters.
We saw paintings such as “Las Meninas” and the famous painting of Carlos IV and his family.
I couldn’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon in Madrid. Truly a wonderful experience.
