Winter in Spain

Jim spent three weeks in Alicante this January practicing his Spanish and immersing himself in the language and culture.

Jim thought Alicante was a perfect location to base himself as he went off and explored different areas, for example he did two days trips to Valencia, he went to Elche, Villajosa, Guadalest, Algar Spring plus various tram journeys around the area.

Jim loved being able to practice his Spanish everyday and loved how easy the whole trip was. He would deliberately pick local looking spots where he could only hear Spanish being spoken and loved being able to understand and converse with the locals.

Next year he is going to attempt three week in Fuerteventura.
